Ghost Walk in Old Sacramento

Adrienne Foster is organizing an off-site Ghost Walk in Old Sacramento on Friday Night. Full details and reservations are available on the Bay Area Ghost Hunters page at http://www.meetup.com/Bay-Area-Ghost-Hunters/events/118705742/

Here’s part of Adrienne’s description from that page:

For those of you who are unfamiliar with these walks, a tour guide takes visitors to various locations and tells them about the ghost stories reported there. The walks not only provide a city’s ghost folklore, but are heavy with its history as well—the more macabre side. Walking tours immediately become much more intimate with the haunted sites when visitors can see them up close and personal. This particular tour will be a little spicier since it was designed for adults 18 & over. There will be no bad language, but this one includes lots of sexual metaphors and double entendre.

This is a very unique tour where you’ll hear some sextacular ghost stories while being captivated with lively music and entertaining guides. Don’t be surprised if you hear a ghost or two as we weave through the shadowy, darkened back alleys of Old Sacramento. You might be frozen in terror one moment and laughing out loud the next, but don’t stray to far from the group, because you never know when you might come face to face with the unknown. Fun for ghost hunters who love to laugh out loud at the saucier side of life.

This tour is being scheduled at a time when it won’t conflict with Westercon 66’s masquerade. Cost of the tour is $19 in advance, $20 “at the door.” The deadline to reserve a spot in advance is July 3. I hope you’ll be able to join us for the sexy and bone-chilling stories of Sacramento’s history and ghosts.

Please be advised to dress as warmly for the weather as you require. Cameras are encouraged. If any of you would like to try to collect EVPs, wear soft-soled, snug-fitting shoes—noisy shoes such as Uggs can interfere with any captures.

(This is not an official Westercon 66 event, but is being organized so members can enjoy it).
